About

My name is Jeremy Pauley, a 33-year old C4 C5 quadriplegic paralyzed from the neck down that suffered a spinal cord injury on January 24th, 2007 5 days after turning 18, and was placed on a developmental disability waiver in 2015. I created the 501c3 charity Developmental Assist in order to help people with developmental disabilities afford the cost of assistive technology in order to build their independence as these devices are often way too expensive and denied by insurance. I use assistive technology everyday of my life to have the independence that allows me to live on my own with the assistance of my DSP staffing which has been one of the greatest blessings life offered me that I would like to share with others. I received the 501c3 March 11th making us a public charity registered with the IRS that will allow us to help people with developmental disabilities be as independent as life will allow with the use of assistive technology. That will be funded by this charity and would reduce the stress people with developmental disabilities deal with when trying to find devices that would build Independence no matter the cost.
